In Person F2F  Teaching

The Faculty Support Center Instructional Design team is happy to provide you with information about teaching face to face courses. It is designed to help you with the resources needed to successfully develop and lead in-person courses that meet both college, student, and your needs.

In a world of blended, hybrid and other learning options, face-to-face teaching may seem like the easiest type to facilitate and in some ways, it is. However, a good in-person course still takes a good deal of backwards design and planning, content curation, and engaged delivery methods.

This LibGuide shows the characteristics of face to face courses, outlines best practices derived through empirical research, and provides practical guidance for teaching in real time that is useful for all kinds of faculty.

Please let the instructional designer know about additional resource materials that can be added to this site. We encourage user contributions as our collective skills and knowledge grow and as our needs at Cochise College evolve.
